SEER to SEER2 conversion
The 2023 efficiency standard changed the test procedure, so the same equipment gets a slightly lower number under SEER2 than it did under SEER. The conversion is straightforward: SEER2 ≈ SEER × 0.95 (roughly 5% lower). Here are common conversions:
